The Redhill Islamic Centre Trust Madrasah offers comprehensive Islamic education to Muslim children, empowering them to apply, deepen their understanding, and share their knowledge with the broader community. Our curriculum includes instruction in reciting the Holy Qur’an, Surahs (Chapters of the Quran), Dua’s (Supplications), Seeratun Nabee (The Life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)), Fiqhul Islam (Basic principles of Cleanliness, Prayer, etc), Islamic History, Tajweed (Rules of recitation of the Holy Quran), Hifz (Memorization of the Holy Quran), and A’alim Classes.

In addition to our academic offerings, we host various events within the Madrasah to provide students with opportunities to showcase their learning. Mosque assemblies feature recitations, storytelling, poetry, and plays performed by the children. Our Annual Fundraising event is a highlight, allowing students to engage with their families, friends, and the local community.

Through our programs and events, we aim to foster a strong sense of community, knowledge sharing, and cultural appreciation among our students. Join us at the Redhill Islamic Centre Trust Madrasah to embark on a journey of learning, growth, and connection.

Madrasah Admissions

The Redhill Mosque has a high demand for student enrollment, resulting in annual waiting lists for various classes. For more information, please contact the Madrasah office. Please note that students under the age of four are not admitted to ensure they are mentally and physically ready to focus during the two-hour class sessions.

Hifz Class (Memorization of the Quran) Information: Achieving the courage to memorize the Quran is a significant accomplishment. However, students must understand the importance of self-preparation and motivation. Discipline and regular practice outside of Madrasah are essential for success. Currently, the Mosque offers Hifz class provision for boys only. For more information on Hifz class availability, please contact the Madrasa office.

Examinations and Results: Students undergo examinations twice a year, consisting of oral and written tests. External examiners evaluate students’ Tajweed and Quran recitation skills at the end of the year to determine their progression to the next class.

Frequently Asked Questions

Access to Knowledgeable Teachers: Mosques often have qualified teachers and scholars who can provide insights and clarify doubts about the Quranic text. This direct access to knowledgeable individuals is invaluable for those seeking to understand the Quran more deeply.

The Quran, the holy book of Islam, is not only a spiritual guide but also a comprehensive manual for leading a fulfilling life. It offers guidance on moral, ethical, and social issues, and its teachings have been a source of enlightenment for millions around the world.

Teaching the Quran to your children is more than an educational task; it is a profound way to guide them towards a life of virtue, wisdom, and faithfulness. The rewards are abundant and extend beyond the individual, enriching the entire family and community.

Reciting the Quran is more than a ritual; it is an ongoing conversation with the Creator. This dialogue enriches the spiritual life of a believer, offering guidance, peace, and a closer connection to Allah (SWT). Through recitation, reflection, and application, the Quran becomes a constant companion, illuminating the path of righteousness and enhancing the believer’s faith journey.

Learning the Quran is a lifelong journey that offers spiritual enrichment and the hope of intercession on the Day of Judgment. By dedicating time and effort to understanding and memorizing the Quran, believers not only improve their current life but also prepare for the hereafter. Embrace this divine gift and let it guide you towards eternal success.
