Community Service

How We Serve Our Community

The Surrey Mosque is committed to providing a broad base strategic service to all members of the community in a targeted and holistic manner which adheres to Islamic morals and values.

To date, the majority of our activities have been aimed at establishing our Masjid and growing our organisation and the Masjid will always be at the centre of everything that we do. However, as our community grows so too does the needs of this diverse and ever-evolving group.

It is our fervent hope to tackle some of the issues which impact greatly upon the ummah in this town by working in partnership with other statutory, voluntary and charitable organisations and by developing projects of our own too.

During the time of the prophet (pbuh) the Masjid lay at the heart of every community and was used for worship, education, gathering and had a hand in all matters relating to the welfare of the ummah. It is this tradition which we seek to revive in sha Allah.

To this end we will be offering a variety of services including a Da’wa and Islamic Centre, a youth club and advocacy services to name but a few. If you would like to volunteer your services and help us get these and other projects off the ground please fill-out the form below to register your interest. We would love to hear from you.

Whoever joins himself (to another) in a good cause shall have a share of it, and whoever joins himself (to another) in an evil cause shall have the responsibility of it, and Allah (swt) controls all things” Qur’an: Surat an-Nissa 4:85.
